Moraine Lake Sunset
Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadians out there! I decided to reprocess my favourite photo of Moraine Lake in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It took a 2nd visit to Moraine to get the glow I wanted in the mountains and tree-line surrounding the lake but I loved the results. Moraine's distinct shade of blue is due to the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis by the glaciers surrounding it. This photo was manually blended using Photoshop CC from 3 different bracketed exposures. via miketlim http://500px.com/photo/86335799
