Morning Blush

I've been busy processing new images from over this past Summer, but stumbled upon this older one recently and decided that it needed to be reprocessed. This was taken last year while on a week long North Cascades trip. While this location is very frequently photographed, I tried to go for a bit of a different take here, and the unique sort of atmosphere seemed to help with accomplishing that. On this particular morning, a very rosy-colored sunrise sky over Mt. Shuksan really complimented the nearby wildflowers from the Picture Lake area. It was so peaceful, quiet and incredibly calm, and we enjoyed having the whole area to ourselves. via candacebartlett http://500px.com/photo/85839917
