Moving On

One of my favorite things about autumn around creeks and rivers, is that leaves in a pool of water often move with the flow of the creek. Using long exposures, the movement of the leaves creates colorful streaks throughout the water. I am a sucker for moving leaves, and this section provided plenty of color and a pool of water with the canyon wall as a backdrop. Hiking through here for the first time since the fire was like seeing an old friend, but also brought sadness along with it.
