Ruin of the Tides

Please check it out on black. I know the reception of abstract images is a little less well received here on 500px. However, I am really excited to share my first abstract image, of a new abstract coastal series I am working on. This style of imagery is so far off from what my usual portfolio images are like. I really wanted to switch it up and create a little more diversity in my images. I have a ton of new abstract pieces that I have been collecting for awhile now. I can not wait to share them with you all. This image is a close up of san streaks from the receding tides. It took awhile to find the right formations to create this symmetrical composition. I used a little bit of color correction to give the already blazing sunset glow some extra drama. The process of taking this photo was such a refreshing and relaxing change of pace from the usual landscape photo, it really gave a nice challenge of creativity.
