Stormy Weather at the Dallas Divide

Years ago I used to get ready for a landscape shoot and hope for blue skies. But these days, I usually hope for more dramatic and stormy weather. The light, clouds, and atmosphere just seem to make so much more of an impact. (more on my blog at www.mattk.com) This photo was taken at the Dallas Divide. We were heading back to town from another shoot because some bad weather was rolling in. At the last minute we decided take a quick detour.
