The Vaults

I reprocessed this one as the original really needed further consideration. Many thanks to those on my Facebook groups for their suggestions. The wonderful oddities of nature have long fascinated me, the canyons of the American Southwest are one of my favourite locations. I've tried shooting here every year since 2009 but this was the first time I've been able to get an interesting foreground. Moving in such a narrow canyon isn't particularly easy at the best of times When the floor is thick gloopy mud it's like hiking on an uneven ice rink.
