the nexus

sunset over Putty Beach in New South Wales... the evening did not look anything special until about ten minutes before sunset when it just burst to life with some amazing light and colours... i called this one 'the nexus' in reference to Star Trek Generations - the clouds and light shining through reminded me of the energy ribbon encountered by the crew of USS Enterprise in the movie... via darkelfphotography http://500px.com/photo/97505567
