Northern Lights in Germany, 2015 When the weather forecast said last night, there will be a little chance to see some northern lights in Germany, which is a very rare event in this country, i decided to get out and walk through the forest, climb up this rock called "Altfels" and hoped to see some lights in the sky. My expectations were not too big, because the light pollution from the towns around this place and especially from Luxembourg, which is just about 20km away is really heavy. But about 30 minutes later i could not longer believe my eyes, that definetely was the most breathtaking experiences in my life.
