Winter Sunrise On The Merced River

This was taken earlier in the year right after one of the first snow storms of the season. The snowfall this year in Yosemite has been particularly sparse and it doesn't bode well for the severe drought that is ongoing in California. I read that the road to Glacier Point opened today, and I can't recall the last time it opened in March. Hopefully we'll get a few more Spring storms in before the Summer, but it doesn't look very promising at this point.
