Icy Kirkjufell

I recently returned from a 2 week trip aroundd Iceland and was presented with some diverese and challenging conditions. This should be no surprise to anyone that's been there as the weather can be very unpredictable and change at any moment. The first day of the trip we had rain, snow, sun, sleet, wind, hail, rainbows, and nearly any other condition you can think of. This shot was near the end of the trip when we finally got some really nice light. It was really fun shooting the little lake near Kirkjufell when it's icy as you can find a large array of different little patterns and leading lines for different compositions.
