Luck struck and getting up super early was rewarded by capturing the beauty of this sunrise in Gladstone, Missouri. The cloud was in fishnet configuration and was painted red by the pre-dawn sunlight. The gentle light lasted only for a few minutes and I was lucky enough to take a few shots before the lights became harsh/too bright. Gladstone is an old town in Kansas City Missouri proper, this photo was taken in a small slope/hill owned by a local church and theology school. Kansas city has no hills/mountains or fancy lakes/cabins, but has beautiful clouds/sunrise/sunsets.
