Tribulation Falls

This is Panther Creek Falls. It is located in a deep ravine within Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington. I visited this waterfall about a year ago, but was not equipped to get down to the base of it. I tried again this year, and managed to rappel down a near vertical cliff, and scramble down a steep "trail" to get to the base of the falls to get this shot. You really got to want this one to get down here. But the result is well worth the effort. Panther Creek has to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Washington state.
