Silhouette- Homage to the dead : Bali Bombings. The sun sets behind the temple whilst people pray in this rock temple out in the sea. The reflection comes of a small puddle on the ground rocks. Camera at ground level. The white line in the center are the waves.
Extra Info: Founded in the 16th century by Nirartha, a Hindu priest who was travelling through Bali. One day he saw a shining light, came to the coast and found it shining from the fresh water spring. The locals disagreed. He meditated and pushed a chunk of rock out into the sea, which the temple now stands on. He dedicated the temple to the God of the Sea, and ever since people have treated this as very special.
