The Coming Darkness

Given that it's almost the end of the milky way season here Perth, Western Australia as the it sets earlier and it nears summer so that the sun sets later. I organised a rather rare event whereby I took members of a local photography group with me to the Pinnacles. Despite many of the weather forecasts showing clear weather, we were engulfed by dark clouds for most of the night and was only able to image briefly. I've been meaning to do a "normal" milky way panorama arch with the self portrait.
